Dr. Kim received his medical degree for Pennsylvania State University. He then completed his internal medicine internship at St. Joseph's Hospital in Phoenix, AZ. He completed his residency training in comprehensive eye disease and cataract surgery at the University of California, Irvine. Dr Kim did medical retina fellowship at the prestigious Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Florida. He is board certified in ophthalmology by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
